Drake, Ph.D. discusses his recently published article, “Adaptation to Telehealth of Personalized Group Visits for Late Stage Diabetic Kidney Disease.” Dr. Drake’s research found that telehealth supported personalized group visits can help address the unique social and medical needs of patients managing Type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD). This approach provides the “benefits of education, coaching, and peer support in a fun, supportive environment that complements existing clinical care programs.”
